2GHO helped facilitate the development of the Lake Okeechobee Scenic Trail (LOST) kiosk signage program for Palm Beach County. The main objectives were to convey regional information regarding the specific areas through the use of a Scenic Trail used to educate the general public on the rich history of these towns and cities. The second object ive of this project was to provide a capital improvement plan to encourage and supprot the economic enhancment of the region. This was done by identifying applicable grants,grant sources, and grant writing to create funding for use by future project s in the LOST area, both for the public
and private sect ors. GHO worked alongside the four communities of western Palm Beach County to develop conceptual kiosk designs which reflect the cultural and historical perspect ives within the region. Charrett es were organized to gain public input on struct ure, regional history and location priorities.
